'Watch' The Spy

So the Scout update is out now, and so is the Spy and Sniper. I have not stopped playing, and I probably won't. But certain days, I think I should...

But what I did 'find' last night - since you don't 'earn' them anymore - was the "Cloak and Dagger." I used it a bit and found it quite interesting. One can basically hide in plain sight.

I would make my way to the front lines and cloak into enemy territory. But if you don't move, you stay cloaked and can watch what is going on around you. This is time-consuming, but can be helpful to learn what the enemy is doing. I guess that was the point.

First impressions: good, but a very learned spy can own your team with this thing, watch out.

Scout Update is Shit!

Absolute, and utter SHIT!

The three new 'unlockables' for the Scout class are completely unnecessary and WAY overpowered. These essentially transform the scout from a SCOUT to an offensive class. Scouts were useful if they did their job; mainly scouting. Going ahead of the group and reporting on gun placements and enemy movements. Now they can have their little weapons and completely overtake ANY class on the field.

BONK bat (I don't know what the fuck these things are called):
Can immobilize ANY player at ANY time, even UBERed. That last bit is complete BULLSHIT. This removes ANY advantage from ANY class taking on a scout, and gives that advantage to the Scout. This needs to be removed NOW.

Slow-me-down gun:
Pushes ANY class backwards no matter how fast or direction they are moving. This means you CANNOT advance on an attacking Scout. They simply have the upper hand by slowing you. Combine this with the bat, and fuck, a shitstorm. BULLSHIT again, and needs to be removed NOW.

Speed-up drink:
Apparently this 'drink' makes you run really fast. This is fine in it's own right, but it also makes you some sort of invincible. That part is utterly STUPID. Making the scout faster makes him harder to hit, but DON'T add the ability to NOT hit him! BULLSHIT, for the third time. And yes, remove NOW.

Valve royally fucked up this game with this latest update and they should be held accountable. Contact Valve and let them know this is BULLSHIT. And tell them to stop listening to 12-year-olds when asking what to 'update' in the game.

I figure that they don't hear from the intelligent fun players because they are too busy with life; things like a job, or family, or a home, etc. We don't come home from school and spend the night playing this game (although, sometimes I wish I could, only sometimes).

These events, I believe, portend the future actions of these people in normal society. Sad news for us all. Get your gun ready.

It's fucking ridiculous how retarded 'the kids' are today. Playing a little TF2 today, I ran into (not for the first time) 'mee-lee' and 'nub.' Let me explain.

You all know the melee weapons in TF2. And you also know how to pronounce melee (mey-ley). I can't fucking stand it when people say 'mee-lee.' That's not the damn word!

This also comes in line, while not correct grammar, still bothersome, with 'n00b' or 'noob.' We all know what that is, but apparently even the abbreviation has to be shortened to 'nub.' Yep, 'nub.'

(EDIT NOTE: While spellchecking this document, 'n00b' was not
flagged as wrong, but 'noob' was...)

All this because Fucking-Retard-The-I-Didn't-Learn-Phonics-Boy thinks he can spell. The bigger problem is that nobody thinks he's wrong!

Okay, now I'm stopping, before I have to kill someone...

While it's only a temporary ban, the image above got me banned from a TF2 server on November 6, 2008.

Is this an inappropriate spray? Some would say so; others would agree based on it's association with Adolf Hitler's National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nazi). Still others would agree because of it's inclusion of ~~President~~ Supreme Chancellor Elect ~~Barack Obama~~ Barry Hussein.

I believe the server I was playing on was Chicago based. And Barry is Illinois little homeboy. So this probably pissed them off right good!

But, this is not a complaint or rant about how it was unfair or unjust; a little warning would have been nice though. It's their server and they can do as they wish. But the short tale was good enough for a mild post.

Spray on players!

Political Sprays

I begin this post notifying you that I cannot say that my sentiments posted here to not reflect those of the entire ABWFF clan. I wish I could, but not all of us are socialists.

In keeping with my previous post on sprays, I offer you two more. But unlike my last request, you are free to use as much as you wish! I 'borrowed' them, so I don't see why you can't! Besides, Obama supporters would laud you taking the benefit of all the hard work I did!

I thought a good follow-up to the first post would be a complete collection of my World War poster sprays re-cast to the TF2 universe. I'm often asked about them, so here's the collection in it's entirety as of today:

"She may look clean - but" I think she's pretty clean... This is the only one that is pretty much a verbatim copy of the original, only TF2-ey. It is the first one I did in this World War recreation collection.

This one seemed too perfect to not be included in my collection. Just like the repair work one below, it is one of my favorites and was welcomed by other players.

I don't know who Joe Louis is, but he apparently was cool enough to be on a poster with a very uplifting saying to embiggen the population. I took it a bit of a different direction...

This one is not the most exciting, but I felt it most applied to the pyro. Since my Photoshop skills are not up to par of making an exact copy, I got the color of the pyro representatively close. I'm not sure of the message of the original poster; probably has something to do with keeping busy.

Since the Jap aren't really our enemies anymore, I thought it was best to re purpose this one completely to the land of TF2. Players often take metal just because it's there and they're a little low. But, it's best to leave it for a Engineer (who should have a dispenser close by), or especially a Heavy; they go through it like a Jew does coupons.

This one is my favorite so far. The hand with the wrench was super-applicable to the engineer. A good engineer can keep a gun up while taking on direct head-on fire. I thought some positive reinforcement would help assert this point to all the participating engineers who read it!
